Luke is a fitness expert with 12 years of experience and certifications in fitness, boxing, and movement training. He founded Movement Innovation in 2017 and is passionate about helping clients achieve lasting results. Luke values the supportive MI environment and enjoys spending time with his family, including his son Finn and their dog Maisie.

I founded Movement Innovation in 2017. Before that, I was a personal trainer and ran outdoor boot camps. I have to say, it’s much nicer to be indoors in winter than to put up with the freezing, wet conditions outside.
I love listening to and helping solve problems that have been bothering clients. I also appreciate the positive and driven environment of the MI staff; they encourage me to keep improving by setting a great example.
Now that I’m in my 30s, I really get how important this is. I had a client named Dan who had a few issues preventing him from surfing. He felt out of shape, lacked motivation, and had no confidence lifting weights. We mapped out a plan of attack, and within 12 weeks, he saw a huge difference. Four years later, he’s surfing every week, controlling his weight, still gaining strength, and living the life he wants at 40. Seeing someone change their life for the better and for their future really gives me fire in the belly.
Stress less and focus on what you can control. Start with small, achievable goals and keep working on them. It’s normal to face challenges, but don’t get discouraged. Stay positive and remember that progress takes time.
I call my friends and family in the car to catch up with them, but if they call me back when I’m out of the car, I likely won’t answer.
I love hanging out with my wife and family. We have a little boy named Finn and a Border Collie x Kelpie named Maisie. They certainly keep us busy. 🤣
